What type of batteries are recommended for the 3100-EXT?
3100-EXT uses four (4) AA batteries (Not included)
Quality alkaline batteries (i.e. Energizer or Duracell) = 2.5 – 3 weeks of average use
Lithium batteries = (i.e. Energizer E2) 6-8 weeks
We do not recommend rechargeable batteries or ‘store brand’ alkaline batteries.
(Average is calculated with 2 hours of ‘vehicle in motion’ driving time per day).
